Starwatchers
The Journey to Crystallo
a family-friendly fantasy for ages 9 to adult, especially for girls.

Young Meg Turner and her brother are walking home from a movie one evening only to be sucked right off the earth and onto an asteroid. They encounter a brisk but helpful little alien who devises a plan for their return to Wyoming. It will only work if they can bypass the Valley of Shadows and cross the River of Intelligence to reach the Starmaster without being enslaved by The Dustman.

Less than halfway into their journey her brother disappears, leaving Meg alone in this strange place. Her efforts to find her brother and make it to the Starmaster are fraught with physical challenges and personal confrontations that test her determination and build her character.      Juvenile Fiction / Fantasy ... ages 9 to adult.
